Dry eyes and mouth

I am experiencing most of the withdrawal problems discussed on the site but I also have very dry eyes and mouth often worse in the morning but not every day has anyone else had these problems

I’m not a doctor, but I can share some information based on what we’ve learned through other users and research.

Experiencing dry eyes and mouth during marijuana withdrawal is not uncommon.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive compound in cannabis, can affect tear production and lead to dry eyes. Over-the-counter eye drops can provide relief and its important to stay hydrated.

Dry mouth is also not uncommon after quitting weed as THC interacts with cannabinoid receptors that affect saliva production. Try sipping water frequently and gum or hard candy can stimulate saliva flow. Also, alcohol and caffeine can sometimes worsen dry mouth.

Remember, everyone’s experience is unique. If these symptoms persist or cause significant discomfort, consult a healthcare professional.
